Wooden Nickels

Drs. Daft & Stamos Orthodontics Wooden Nickel Program

To help our patients fulfill their treatment goals we give out WOODEN NICKELS. The score you receive on your cooperation report determines the number of wooden nickels earned at each appointment. WOODEN NICKELS may be saved and traded in for movie passes, gift certificates, and other prizes. This is our way of saying “Thank you for being such a great patient!”

Every game or sporting event has rules. Here are the WOODEN NICKEL rules.

You will earn ONE wooden nickel when all of the following four requirements are met at your regular visit.

1. You are on time for your appointment
2. Your brushing and flossing have been very good
3. No damage has been done to the braces or appliance
4. You have worn your elastics or appliance as instructed 

You can earn TWO extra nickels when:

1. You receive all B’s or better on your current report card, just bring in card at appointment to verify.
2. At your six-month check up with your dentist a form is signed by the dentist,

Hygienist, or RDA, that you have “excellent” hygiene and “no” cavities.

You will earn TEN wooden nickels when:

You refer a friend to our office, and they come in for an examination and tell us you referred them. This is the fastest way to earn wooden nickels!

You can earn NO wooden nickels when:

1. You are here for an emergency repair
2. You are here for brushing instruction or an oral hygiene check
3. You missed your last appointment (you did not cancel prior to your appointment time)

IF WE FORGET TO GIVE YOU THE WOODEN NICKELS YOU DESERVE, PLEASE JUST ASK FOR THEM BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE OFFICE! WE CAN NOT GIVE FORGOTTEN NICKELS AT NEXT VISIT!
